Djuna is one of the city’s most famous DJ’s, and with good reason. She knows how to make the perfect party, with heart and a sense for music like no other.

Maria Gerhardt was inspired by her favourite american author, Djuna Barnes, and soon began to find new and old records, which could play in the same pace, speaking with eachother so to say.

We are two boys at the age of 19, our names are Monay and Andy and currently we have our own program on DR Pirattv, in Denmark, and it is called Swagtalk. In this program we discuss the latest trends and give advice and tips on what looks good and what does’nt. We represent what we like to call “street couture” which can be described as when you mix high fashion with street wear.

Ralph Lauren Ranger Boots, which we both bought, we thought it would be nice to mix it up a little bit. Instead of rocking the usual Timberlands, which are great boots but sometimes it is time for something refreshing. This is of course a perfect fit for the current season. Also Ralph Lauren is a timeless brand, and a brand that we have great respect for.

BBC/Ice Cream T-Shirts, We are big fans of BBC/Ice Cream, and the creator Pharrell Williams is a great influence and one of our role models. The t-shirts often have very simplistic designs, which is something I like a lot and therefore I think they are extremely dope.

Snapback hats, these are the hats to wear for the moment. We always liked hats, and this is just a current substitute for the usual New Era Hat.

Fox Fur Tails, we bought some new fox fur tails not too long ago in bright colours, just to spice it up a bit. This is a trend that is catching on quick, but some may find a little to daring.

Sneakers, lately we been buying Jordans just to keep the wardrobe fresh and new. This is another brand that we are big fans of, and there is no felling like throwing on a fresh pair Jordans, you gotta love it!!!

Currently we are working on our music, and a mixtape should drop in the next couple of months, and we go by the name of Young Stars. Also we are working on clothing line that hopefully will be released within a year. So we have a lot of projects that we are working on. Superbial.dk

Hi, my name is Anders Halkjær, i’m just been asked to make a Friday guest banger, the only problem i have is, the clock is 20:00 i’m going to meet at 7:00 at my job tomorrow. So basically i have three hours to find some new music that means something to me, and still live up to my own standards of what i think a music blog should be like! – got damn, but as you can see, i said yes!

My first thought for a description of this number was: ”just listen!” .. But it is a blog, and to give the number the attention it deserves, i need to write a few words..

Hankat is a new danish project, that could be my argument no.1!

Fallulah – Bridges (alternative)
Give it up for a very serious upcoming danish act, it’s new like in new new. I was thrilled the first time i listened to this number, and i think the number lift the bar for new danish music! It’s special in so many ways, and very international in it’s sound. I hope she will get her entrance on P3’s airplay some time, because she shurely deserve it. My last words for this number is, ”Fallulah, our relationship has just begone!”

Martin Jondo – Rainbow Warrior (reggae)
Oooh yes, i know it’s winter in Denmark, but i just spoke to my friend who live on an island in the Caribbean sea, and he told me, that on Tortola, this number is the shit right now, and i can only agree. I can’t tell you why a German artist have found his way to Tortola, but where there is sun, beach, and cold drinks, reggae always gonna find it’s way
If you close your eyes, turn up the heat, and dream yourself away, i’m sure this number will work for you to!

Broken Bells – The High Road (electro rock)
Danger Mouse (Gnarls B, Gorillaz) and Shins frontman James Mercer in a new project called Broken Bells.. To me it was love at first sound/listen/sight wtf, i’m pretty sure that this project is gonna be huge. The quality, the vibe, the feeling this number give me, is truly amazing, i can listen to it over and over again! If you don’t like it the first time, then try again, sooner or later you gonna lay down on the floor like a little dog, and just crave for more (playing) – to me, it’s the best music i have heard in a long long time! .. Album out March 9th.

Paolo Nutini – Pencil Full of Lead (alternative/soul)
Every time this man put a new record on the street i feel reborn, i get this instant lust for painting, writing, singing, dancing just go nuts in creativity, it’s wonderful.. It’s so timeless and sounds like noting else on the music scene. Just look at the sun while your hear this number, and you will forget all the bad things in the world, it just crave your attention instantly, and tell you to smile and be happy.

Friday again! We’ll start this wonderful day with Danish Fagget Fairys in a B. Rich remix. The Danish duo got a serious breakthrough on the Danish scene with the track “Feed The Horse”. This next single is called “Roll The Dice”.

Moving on we find another radio hit, “Rich Girls” by The Virgins. Bumping up the speed and adding a fair amount of distortion and disco, Le Castle Vania did a great remix.

British indiepop group Scanners released “Salvation” some time ago. Don Diablo remixed the track and we received the final result in an e-mail. The bass is awesome.

Staying in the indiepop oriented genre we find always-hyped The Ting Tings. With a vocal that is recognizable from just about a mile away TTT is one you love or hate. I do both. “Great DJ” has been remixed by Acid Girls who right now is ending their Europe Winter Tour.

The two Swedes Tor and Leo form Boeoes Kaelstigen. “Flir” is from their 2007 EP so it’s a pretty old track. Never the less it is awesome! The minimalistic tunes and spacey sounds are great.
