Tuesday Guest Bangers (week 21)
by Foss

Okay guys, it’s been a few busy weeks and way too little activity on the blog! Big apologies for that..
But this Tuesday is your new Friday as we present fresh bangers.
It’s by Frej Le Vin and later today I’ll also share an interview with this you dude. These are the tracks he picked for us:
Happiness is Free – La Onda
First of all I think this track is a top noch lounge jam! Though it hasn’t got that much top in the mix, I think it sounds beautiful just the way it is. The imagine of the whole mix just massages your ears, and it also contains everything that really describes a good lounge house track. Still, that could have been boring. The reason I just had to buy this track, was this interesting chorus. The vocals sound almost cold and expressionless. But still, super chilled and “shoulder-jacking”. There a many typical ways to write melody for a chorus, an I thinks this chorus has something a little different. And that is all that matters.
Blissful – E.B.E
This is a track found, when I digged down in some old stuff. I love how the groove plays in between a straight and a shuffled beat. I’m impressed of the creativity in this melody. I love these happy sounding little almost childish synths. This kind of track paints colours and shapes inside your mind, I think it is a great idea and a beautiful track.
Capture (Hideo Kobayashi Mix) – Scope, Sandra Lima
I love this thing about artwork. The listener often imagines a colour or a feeling when hearing a song. Many times I get surprised, disappointed or even delighted, when I see the artwork of a track I listened to a million times! Truly this track hasn’t got many elements. I had never imagined a sunny beach, filled with beautiful people listening to housetunes. I think this track was more of a night energy for me, like a pumping trance of rhythm. But now I see, of course this track is a massive heat wave hitting ibiza when sun is highest. Also this track kind of turns me on, maybe cause I know spanish..?
In Deeper Presence – Los Hermanos
I’ve always said, that the best tracks are those that makes you wonder about life. This is not very polished or up to date. But damn, those chords makes me feel like I’m alive. There is not much to say, other than this is a piece of eternity in my heart.
Split to nasty (Marco Twellmann Remix) – Frej Le Vin
I would be a fool if I didn’t squeeze in a little tune made by myself. The original track was so techy and far from everything else danish, that it couldn’t find a deep house remixer for it. In the end, I realised that the man for the job was right beside me. My good old friend from waaay back, had been making house music for as long as we’ve known each other, he had never had a release – so I thought. Now is the time! It turned out that he was still the master of deep house, and made me this beautiful, and in my opinion perfect remix for my beloved techno tune. Thanks bro.
