Today we start in a disco mood. I got a mail from Victor Berghmeister with a few unreleased tracks. They have a funky disco and summer vibe.

Next track is a bit more banger-ish and is a cooperation between Kris Menace and Fred Falke. It starts out soft, but don’t be fooled.

Gotye‘s “Somebody that I used to know” was bound to his this blog, like it hit every blog over the world. This remix is by Dan Aux and is one of the best club-mixes I’ve heard. I will however introduce a few other great mixes in a separate post later.

LA-based U-Tern is really hard to put in a genre box. Ranging from the disco-ish like “You don’t know me” to the almost dubstep-ish. This tune has a really funky vibe to it! Via the blog HørLigeHer.

Last track this friday is from lovely Florence + the Machine. One of their major hits got remixed big time. This is straight to the floor.

I am very pleased and honored that my mix has been selected this week! It is a very energetic mix that also says a lot about my style of DJ’ing. Full gas on, and it should be like that all the time! The Misshapes will be hosting a major event this saturday at the famous (and infamous), rowdy and much lovable Copenhagen club Simons.

The Misshapes is a New York-based trio that rocked the fashion and club world by doing things nobody had ever seen. They have played at fashion events all over the world and this saturday – the 17th – you have the unique possibility to experience The Missshapes at Simons.

During their time The Misshapes have hosted names like Madonna, Chloë Sevigny, Hedi Slimane and M.I.A.

As a DJ I’m not easy to put in a box. I’m constantly dancing behind decks and continually switching genre from groovy and tasty disco laden treats into dark, heavy and lush deep house affairs, then drops some huge house tracks with driving sexy vocal lines and sumptuous bass hooks and then he will take it all back again for some more spins.

I have played at all the best and famous clubs in Denmark, including: Vega, Dunkel, Rust, Simons, Kødboderne 18, Train, Jolene, Bakken. Although I’m standing right in front of my big breakthrough. I have already played legendary clubs like Kater Holzig (Berlin), Koko Club (London), Fisk og Vilt (Oslo), Faroe Islands, and venues like Roskilde Festival, Distortion, Strøm and Trailerpark Festival all.
I’ve picked tracks that I find interesting at the moment, and which you’ll probably hear me playing around at the clubs. Hope you will like the music!

Adana Twins – Everyday
Hamburg duo Adana Twins have found a recipe for a sexy deep house treat. Update a version of a new jack swing classic add some huge deep down beats, a excellent groovy and deep bassline and at last a pretty damn tight vocals with sounds like a white boy singing with a black mans swag. Then you have a massive Beatport and dancefloor hit. I’m loving it!

Softwar – This Time Around
Honestly, I do not know much about Softwar other than they are 2 body builders from Sydney. I just love the pianoey deep house summery vibes and the simple lyric “you got me feeling real good this time around”.

John Talabot – When The Past Was Present
I could have chosen almost every track from Joh Talabot’s new album “ƒin”. If you have not heard it yet so hurry to do it. It is possibly the best electronic record that will be published this year. Tracks like “So Will Be Now…”, “Destiny”, “Journeys”and “Oro y Sangre”. There’s no need to say more,…

Mercury – Candlelight feat. Robert Owens
Mercury are on fire at the moment! Candlelight” is a deep burner with typically soulful vocals from Chicago house veteran Robert Owens. It’s a super futuristic slow house jam with a tricky, unexpected beat and a harmonic change. A short track but it goes under the skin.

Manolo – Night Rhythm
Finnish DJ and producer Roberto Rodrigues aka Manolo has made a re-work of Corona’s euro-pop smash hit “Rhythm of the Night” from 1994. Bonus information: (Corona was inspired by Say When – Save Me. You can hear it on the vocal melody!) This less tacky version is a love-it-or-hate-it track but it makes my friday night. Nu-disco has become the new funky house..

Jimmy Ross – First True Love Affair (Larry Levan Mix 1981)
Larry Levan is one of my all time heroes. He was in the mid 80s synomyn and resident at the legendary club Paradise Garage in New York. This track is one of my biggest guilty pleasures. I can play it anywhere at anytime and people will dance all over the club, from the bar to couches. Larry Levan had a unique ability to put together a stunning groove, funky bassline and catchy melodies. Something that makes him one of the most important if not the most important dj in the history.
